LOVE WHAT YOU LEARN

At MainStage, "Everyone does Everything."

We don't separate our actors and technicians. Student actors who aren't rehearsing a scene are in one of our shops learning how to build the sets, props and costumes, or they might be in the catwalks hanging and focusing lights. You'll never hear anyone say "I never do that." Even the students who love backstage work are encouraged to join in a crowd scene during a performance at least once. After trying technical theatre or acting for the first time, many discover a new passion.

Theatre is a multi-faceted art form, and MainStage kids are challenged to explore every aspect of it!
